Welcome!
This very ugly, basic, no-frills blog page is brought to you by a pissed off Monroe Park area resident.
This is a neighboorhood that has many kids playing about. It has nice, simple homes. It has a friendly attitude. It has a nice local market. Alas, it also has PROSTITUTES!
It is not so much the prostitutes that piss me off, but their "customers". You really have no idea the wide variety of dudes (and a few women) that lurk about picking these ladies up. One of the regular guys is about 70 years old!
The main reason this cheezes me off so damn bad is that these skels proposition my wife while she is sitting as the school bus stop waiting to pick up the kids! Definate pukes.
So, enjoy the photos and updates of these a-holes Johns, working ladies, and pimps.
Please feel free to comment and/or critique.
I will keep this page updated as I catch the bastards trolling for their next big purchase.

Thanks for your web page. I live and work in the area and am repulsed by the activity that goes on in this area where I raise my children. Thank you for caring about all of us.
Not sure where to post this, but can we do something about the homeless people in the this area? My wife works at the Red Apple on 6th and Adams, and the majority of problems that that store has stem directly from 1) Homeless people harassing paying customers for money, and being belligerent about it, B) Punk kids with absolutely no respect for anyone, least of all themselves and III) The prostitutes and meth/crack dealers.
The Red Apple on Sixth is not a store that you wanna mess with, they have a zero tolerance policy for shoplifting and will not hesitate to call the police when necessary (a couple times a week, at the very least).
The homeless problem is all over down here tho, especially across the street from the apartments we live in (4th and Jefferson). I'm sick and tired of being harassed for money, and then getting shit because I either don't have any or don't want to give it away to feed somebody elses addiction.
Anyway...I just wanted to throw my 2 cents out there.

Unreal. I am going to make a point of pointing this site out to veryone I possibly can and put a link up on my MySpace page.
While you're at it, all those people on the freeway have noisy cars and make smog. Lets lose some of those too if it is easy to do. Joke.
You are making effort to stop crime and improve your neighborhood. Good job!
Some say small issue/opinion based web sites like your are democracy and freedom of speech at its best. 60% of all websites are individuals rather than organizations.
Long live democracy, long live freedom of speech. (just be careful and don't get carried away).
Yeah I used to work at Red Apple a few years back. Theives were dealt with with an iron fist. The rules were simple, recover stolen merchandise, if they fight for it then it becomes robbery not shoplifting and you can do whatever is reasonable to recover merchandise. As far as the pan handlers go, just tell someone who's working in their. If it's during the day Tom will be more than happy to go out there and tell them to leave, and at night there is usually one or two kids who would be willing to go ask pan handlers to go away.
Sorry you don't like the homeless people. If you don't like homeless people give them a home.
I think this site is great, I spend alot of afternoons down at Monroe park and I love to watch people, nice to see a little more on some of these people.
Interesting site. I live in the neighborhood and I look forward to seeing your posts and photos. Thanks for looking out for the rest of us.
