Resident Hairball (off topic)
Due to the response from members of the community (see the "comments" section below) I have decided to pull this posting.
I still feel the same about the person in question and his issues with lack of property maintenance, and I feel that the issues brought up in the post contribute directly to the prostitution/public drug and alcohol use in the area, but I will concede that my posting did, in fact, smack of asshole-ism and gentrification.
So, for those who voiced their opinions, thanks. Your input is well received and will be, as always, considered thoughtfully on the way issues are addressed on this blog.
Thanks again.

This kind of comment discredits your site. Focus and prioritiz and you will achieve so much more of your goal.
I believe I did some plumbing related work for this guy, he seemed OK to me, but I'm from Springfield.
I agree with the first comment. The rest of this blog makes you concerned about your neighborhood, if a bit militant, but that's fair. This post makes you an asshole. If you want manicured lawns and closeted alcoholics for neighbors move to a gated community with a home owner's organization and bitch about somebody hanging the wrong color curtains.
I'm your neighbor too. I guess I better not get on your bad side.
